Ms. Heather Guthrie   I want my art students to become absorbed and thoughtful in the process of creating their art. I encourage them to take their time and consider all decisions they make as the piece evolves and also to be patient. I like when they take risks and do not always do what comes comfortable to them. I want my students to give more than they think they can, because their vision is richer than they think.
Background:I attended college at the University of Colorado majoring in English and Art. I taught school in Boulder for 5 years and then moved here to Sandpoint in 1983, where I have taught for ten years. I am also a successful professional artist and have exhibited my art in many venues in the area. | |
